Job Description Details

Applicants must be at least a junior with a 3.0 GPA or above pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.

Under the mentorship of an Area Manager, the Fulfillment Center Intern will work in the departments of Receiving, Placement/Inventory and Picking/Outbound and gain valuable experience through the following:

• Exposure to Zulily’s innovative Supply Chain network and Fulfillment Center operations.
• Learn about Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other fulfillment systems.
• Leadership fundamentals: you will strengthen your overall leadership skills through our ZAP training program.
• Acquire day-to-day operations management experience by leading a department area of 30-50 people.
• Process Improvement Project: You’ll suggest, develop and present a process improvement idea.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to complete the 10-week training program (40 hours per week) with schedule flexibility.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A focus on data analytics— problem solving, analytical reasoning and Excel proficiency.
