Mobify is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Product Team!
Mobify helps brands deliver amazing commerce experiences to everyone. The Mobify platform enables teams to rapidly build, run, and evolve experiences that engage every shopper, regardless of their device, network, or ability.
The platform includes:
- An Application Delivery Network built with serverless technologies and cloud orchestration tools that allows our customers to run Node.js based web apps in a scalable, available and performant environment
- A control panel to coordinate testing and deployment of applications
- JavaScript packages for building Progressive Web Apps using universal React.js code.
As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you'll work on a cross-functional team with engineering, design and product management to evolve our control panel, our Developer Center and our SDKs.
What You’ll Do
- Write, test and release JavaScript, HTML and CSS early and often
- Collaborate with other engineers through code reviews to achieve higher code quality and practice your skills in giving effective feedback
- Become a technical leader in a software development team, working with engineering, design and product management
- Practice modern web development: We use React.js, Node.js and AWS Lambda
- Apply software development best practices from our Developer Values and Coding Style
- Present your work to an audience at our internal Engineering Meetups
- Contribute to an SDK that powers billions of page views!
Who You Are
- You’ve worked on teams to build and maintain large web applications
- You have extensive experience building complex single page web apps using React.js or another JavaScript framework
- You’re passionate about great experiences for users on the web, and the craft of making them
- You’re a strong communicator who loves to collaborate with a team
- You have a growth mindset, and have significant experience growing and mentoring other engineers.
All candidates who are eligible to work in Canada will be considered. It is not necessary to relocate to be considered for this position. Working remotely from other countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
