We are looking for a Accountant to join our Accounting team in Albuquerque, NM.
This full-time job is located with Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group, which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care, and provides patients with exceptional health care through the support of Lovelace Health System hospitals and technology.
Accountant Job Responsibilities:
- The Accountant position will consist of daily, weekly and monthly accounting and finance processes, entries and reconciliations as well as ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
- Record monthly journal entries related to revenue, adjustments, expenses, etc Reconciliations of various accounts.
- Reporting for business units on financials and KPIs.
- Support for data requests for the financial audit process.
- Support for process improvements for Finance team.
Accountant Education and Experience Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of accounting experience required; healthcare experience preferred
- Experience with Lawson G/L; A/P; AM Modules and ImageNow preferred.
- Work closely with management to ensure they have visibility to Key Operating Metrics.
- Skills in the use of personal computers and related accounting, spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the stress of constant deadlines.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to work on different projects at one time.
- Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the Company.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Exceptional problem solving abilities.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
