Position Introduction:
We're looking for a motivated, creative, and data-driven marketing manager to join our team with a critical focus on elevating, managing, and optimizing our lifecycle marketing efforts. The person in this fast-paced role will support demand generation activities by producing, optimizing, and scaling nurture programs that deliver relevant information at the right time to generate business opportunities.
You will manage our email program and support additional marketing channels that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Whether it be prospects or current customers, you'll hold the key to deploy strategic communications that build and foster relationships with potential and current suppliers on our marketplace. This lead role will report directly to the Director of Performance Marketing, North America.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for creating and executing CRM programs that activate, engage, sell and retain customers during their pre and post-sales lifecycle from all acquisition channels
- Build detailed email marketing roadmap that includes journey flows, triggers, and cohort segmentation to engage and drive conversion
- Remain KPI focused by activating our database to convert qualified leads into customers and improve retention by leveraging content to engage and educate current customers
- Monitor, analyze and report on nurture marketing tracks; sharing meaningful learnings that yield future optimizations to level up efforts continuously
- Partner with and enable the sales team with highly effective email sequences that generate meetings and opportunities
- Own marketing database hygiene by implementing strategic sunset policies, data-enrichment efforts, data validation, etc.
- Collaborate with content marketing teams to manage the distribution of all email sends against a planned editorial calendar
- Work closely with the Sales Operations team to manage marketing operations and automation, including lead capture, lead routing, list development, data-enrichment, etc.
Job requirements
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with an e-commerce or SaaS background
- Expertise in all aspects of email marketing, including copy development, segmentation, execution, A/B testing, deliverability and reporting
- Deep hands-on experience with email marketing automation platform such as Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot
- Proven success driving quantitative business results for customer acquisition and engagement efforts
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and push multiple projects forward simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to keep cross-functional teams focused, motivated and on task
