What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, and hard working Sales Operations Manager to join our Sales Ops team and work to optimize our sales funnel from MQL to Closed Won and ultimately to Account Management.

You’ll be joining a team that is constantly growing and expects that today’s performance is tomorrow’s baseline, and work with Alibaba employees across all time zones and job functions. Your work will directly influence the success of our entire Seller acquisition effort in North America, and we’re looking for somebody that continuously wants to our improve our operations and will not take no for an answer. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be dynamic, thinking outside of normal expectations for the role and working within all disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Join Sales and Marketing Operations Team in managing CRM across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management.
  • Learn the automation and design of leads through funnel, from Marketing, to Sales, to Onboarding and then Management.
  • Be an Alibaba.com B2B expert and let that inform how you help build processes on a daily basis.
  • Assist Account Management with lead list uploads and database maintenance for existing customers.
  • Surface reports and handle correct lead tagging for Marketing team.
  • Report on short and long term sales performance.
  • Track important account management metrics such as retention and optimize service.
  • Learn how to help sales team target high priority leads and identify coaching opportunities.

Job requirements

Hard Requirements

  • 2-3 years of sales operations or business intelligence experience
  • Experience using Hubspot CRM
  • Basic Excel skills (Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
