Director - Integrated Marketing (BBCA) Sign In New York, NY New York, NY More (-3) Apply Apply with LinkedIn View Application More (-4) Job Description OVERVIEW OF ROLE The Director of integrated marketing is responsible for the development and fulfillment of multi-platform integrated ad sales partnerships, generating national ad sales revenue for BBC America.  Candidates must be able to think creatively and proactively develop unique marketing programs that bring value to both the advertiser and BBC America. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working with VP Branded Content and account executives on a daily basis to discuss and brainstorm projects prior to agencies/clients pitches Generating creative, low-cost “added value” ideas for a variety of clients (often without a clear RFP). Working with a graphic designer to turn these ideas into easily understood pitch decks. Ensuring the AE team is up to date with new off-the-shelf opportunities. Managing the day-to-day of sponsorship based marketing (RFP process) Proactively identify new ways to monetize the network and create the tools necessary for the sales team to do so (promotions, stunts, email blasts) Accompany sales team on pitch meetings to represent BBC America and creatively speak to custom proposals Manage BBC America’s on-air inventory to ensure that upcoming unsold opportunities are communicated to the sales team Manage and track the Branded Content budget lines Attend and present at weekly sales meetings Connecting with the BBCA marketing team for information on their production pipeline. Evaluating all opportunities from an ad sales perspective with the VP Branded Content. Making sure all ad-sales content being pitched is on brand and meets BBC editorial guideline Create campaign case study decks & reels that can be presented as opportunities for future clients. QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) Minimum 7 years at an agency, media company or sales organization where the individual was responsible for sponsorships/partnerships, presentation development and delivery, events and content production A proven track record in creating ad sales marketing materials A strong understanding of the ad sales market, including upfront/scatter requirements, and the agency needs of buyers, planners and clients Experience in a high pressure ad sales environment Ability to operate in an environment of constant change Experience in creative management and content production Strong written and oral communication / presentation skills – ability to communicate clearly and effectively and analyze data to develop strong selling story / distinct positioning An expert in digital and social media communication with a finger on the pulse of new client opportunities Experience in training and development of direct report Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Excel; CustomShow a plus An effective and persuasive communicator Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness Ability to continuously improve methods, approaches, and committed to continuous learning Constantly researching new ad sales product opportunities and evaluating the demand for such products Analyzing the effectiveness of all ad sales marketing efforts with research and agency feedback Willingness to travel and work overtime when needed Bachelor’s degree The Company is committed to policy of nondiscrimination in its employment and personnel practices.
