Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist project efforts related to EHS strategy development, organizational design, external reporting, key performance indicators, benchmarking, business process redesign, and corporate EHS policies and standards.
  • Designing, developing and implementing corporate and facility-level Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) management systems.
  • Advising clients on ISO 14001, OHSAS 18000, and other certified management systems.
  • Consulting with clients regarding EHS, liability reserves, sustainable development, and related business management issues.
  • Assisting client personnel as to company/facility EHS requirements and associated policies/procedures.
  • Implementing systems to manage EHS risks, product stewardship and security management systems.
  • Business development activities related to EHS consulting including the proposal process, client relationship management,
  • Cross-selling of ERM services to existing clients, and industry networking to identify potential

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • BS Degree (MSc preferred) in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of EMS consulting experience.
  • Expertise in EMS requirements/regulations in a broad range of industries.
  • Proven track record in consulting and business development for EMS contracts.
  • Established relationships and a positive reputation within the local consulting industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments, meet strict project deadlines within established budgets, and travel as-needed to client facilities.
