ERM is seeking motivated Principal Consultant, Transaction Services/Due Diligence who is interested in participating on a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Shanghai, China or in Beijing if preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In charge of managing and delivering the following services in small to medium scale from proposal development, client engagement and project management:
  • EHS due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures 
  • EHS Audit - Performance Based Auditing including compliance audit and audit program development
  • Sustainability Reporting – including development of sustainability reports and provision of data assurance
  • Client Training Programs - Accelerative learning, high impact, tailored EHS training
  • Support and work with client and account management team in business development and client management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Chemical Sciences or related discipline;
  • At least 8-12+ years of relevant experience, preferred to be in consultancy with relevant project experiences in Phase I EHS Due Diligence and Phase II Site Investigation, with cross-practices of experiences as a plus (such as EHS permitting, compliance audit, and other relevant experiences) and ideally with experiences in chemical and/or general manufacturing sector with clients
  • Excellent in communication and coordination;
  • Experienced in medium to large scale of proposal development, client management and project management; Ideally with client count management exposures
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken);
  • With previous exposure to proposal and client management as a plus;
  • Ability to travel, maintain flexibility and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
