A Day in the Life

The Retail ERP Applications Administrator will oversee the support, management and integration of critical business applications.

  • Act as the technology Subject Matter Expert on critical applications for the company
  • Monitor the software application and work closely with end-users, IT Team and Vendors
  • Maintain internal system documentation and processing schedule
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis to resolve critical system issues
  • Develop custom scripts, programs and queries when needed to extend the functionality of the application
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure appropriate controls and audit logs are in place

  • Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related area
  • 3+ years of IT experience managing applications and interfaces
  • Experience managing Oracle applications
  • Must possess experience implementing third party software packages
  • Programming and SQL skills

Nice to Haves

  • Working knowledge of IBM MQiSeries
  • Experience with AS400/iSeries hardware and operating systems
  • Knowledge of payment card systems including middleware, online gateways
