The Role:

Live Nation Entertainment, the largest live entertainment company in the world, is looking for a highly creative thinker to bring their passion for music, experience in email marketing and knowledge of the online world to the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator. In this role you'll be tasked with developing and scheduling email campaigns, managing data, and coordinating presales, working closely with venues in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather necessary information for success of weekly presale initiatives
  • Inform each market of upcoming event details, presale timelines and restrictions
  • Monitor deadlines, manifest sales and track shipments
  • QA email campaigns while adhering to targeted deadlines for communications
  • Verify all data, links, copy and images submitted are correct and follow brand standards
  • Provide specific feedback to maintain and improve campaigns to the field
  • Filter data and import targeted lists and groups as needed into email database
  • Create HTML and text e-mails using in-house design and other software applications
  • Ensure utilization of best practices and compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN/SPAM) and deliverability
  • Maintain project issues log
  • Encourage effective, secure communication between colleagues of sensitive data
  • Edit and maintain training documentation and guides for the field
  • Research trends, best practices and new opportunities in digital marketing relevant to the department to grow and optimize Digital Marketing efforts
  • Conduct tests of email features to increase performance
  • Report and Track email campaigns and business unit trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Proficient with MS Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using ExactTarget, Salesforce, and/or other commercial ESP preferred
  • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure
  • Flexible, fast learner
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and perform research
  • Knowledge of the principles of digital marketing
  • Extremely resourceful, team player
  • General knowledge of music and entertainment
  • Knowledge of concert promotion and live event business a plus
  • HTML/web editor knowledge a plus
