Business Finance Manager role is an exciting opportunity to get involved in commercial finance within Shared Services environment. It involves management of high energy and potential team of 30+ people, who liaise directly with regional financial controllers, sales managers, business operations, supply chain across Europe, Africa, Middle East and North America regions.
Support covers a wide range of finance areas:
P&L planning and analysis (regional & product views),
Financial reporting on country and regional level,
Project controlling for major system deals across the region,
Commercial finance,
Revenue recognition for systems deals,
Budget planning and analysis for various business units,
Accounting for other business related matters (i.e. customer reserves, field inventory, project costs)
We are looking for a high potential individual who will:
Provide strong, results & people focused leadership to the team
Partner with regional financial controllers and non-finance partners based in various MSI locations to drive business growth and support their key goals and initiatives
Drive process improvement initiatives across shared services and regional finance organizations
Ensure high quality and timing of service delivery
Develop talent within the organization
Motivate the team to achieve individual and team objectives
The role will report directly to the Head of Finance Operations Center supporting global operations out of two sites in Krakow, Poland and Penang Malaysia; and will have a strong relationship to business stakeholders.
Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent from leading universities
Around 10 years of progressive finance experience with clear demonstration of people management commercial finance, business partnership and process improvement
Strong knowledge of International accounting standards and US GAAP
Excellent communication skills, ability to influence Finance and non-Finance staff
Excellent English (written, spoken)
Strong analytical skills to understand complex situations rapidly
