About the Role

The Intern, Marketing and Communications supports DKSH's Marketing and Communications team in executing marketing strategies, producing multi-channel content, and coordinating communications initiatives across local and global markets. This internship offers a hands-on platform for individuals looking to develop practical skills and make a real contribution within a fast-paced, Asia-focused organization.

What You Will Deliver

• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that advance DKSH's brand visibility and market presence
• Create and support the development of engaging content across various platforms, including social media channels and websites
• Collaborate with team members on the coordination of events, trade shows, and internal and external activities to ensure smooth and effective execution
• Support the development and distribution of internal and external communications, including newsletters, email announcements, and other corporate communications
• Assist with video production, photography, and graphic design to enhance the quality and visual impact of marketing and communications materials
• Support media monitoring, coverage tracking, and maintenance of the media contact database to strengthen DKSH's media relations
• Support and coordinate the ongoing Grobrix Initiative, including activity planning, content development, communications, and engagement with relevant stakeholders
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required, including general marketing and communications support across local and global initiatives

What You Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
• Basic knowledge of marketing and communications principles and practices
• Skills in copywriting, proofreading, and editing, with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Proficiency in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tools to support content creation, research, productivity, and marketing and communications tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with genuine appreciation for cultural sensitivities, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Independent, proactive, and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership and a positive attitude toward continuous learning and growth
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver on time
• Fluent in the local language with a good command of written and spoken English and Malay; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage
• Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or content creation tools is an added advantage
• Comfortable working and thriving in a fast-paced environment
