Salary: $22 - $23/hour
We have immediate openings for Machine Operators with out client, a plastic products manufacturing in Janesville.
This is are skilled machine operator roles, and evaluation hire with a company that offers full benefits package.
Main Duties:
- Maintain operation of multiple lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipment.
- Visually inspect products for quality assurance purposes.
- Measure and record pipe dimensions as required. Take proper action according to SPC Charting
- Control dimensions to maintain pipe specifications with direct supervision.
- Move bundled pipe from work area (scrap and good product) with the use of forklift.
- Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers.
- Follow all operational and safety procedures.
- Cut and band scrap as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills
- Previous machine operation or assembly experience, plastic industry preferred
- Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures
Schedule: This is a 12 hour rotation schedule (2-2-3)
- Days: 6pm - 6:30am
- Nights: 6am - 6:30pm
Pay: $22 - $23/hour depending on experience. Potential for higher starting pay, BOE
