Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking motivated professionals to assemble low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets in a modern manufacturing facility. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with tools, and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret assembly, elevation drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Assemble modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies
• Gather materials, hardware, and components required for production
• Use hand tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
• Operate power tools such as drills, impact guns, and pneumatic torque wrenches
• Read and accurately use a tape measure
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Follow safety procedures and assembly instructions
• Collaborate with fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly teams to complete projects efficiently

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, Automotive Mechanic, or similar hands-on mechanical role
• Experience working in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical symbols, and schematics
• Proficient with shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions and decimals
• Strong communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English
• High School Diploma or Technical School education preferred but not required

You'll work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with approximately 60 employees, where products are built from start to finish through fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly. The facility is clean, organized, modern, and maintained at comfortable working temperatures year-round.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
