Position Summary:

This is a full-time, on-site role for Service Engineer – Compressor based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Service Engineer is responsible for after-sales service execution, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressor systems to ensure reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Equipment uptime and reliability
  • Response time and service quality
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Service revenue contribution (parts, contracts, upgrades)

Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning:

  • Perform installation and start-up of compressor systems and related equipment
  • Ensure proper system setup, alignment, and operational readiness
  • Conduct system testing and commissioning to meet performance requirements

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repair activities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues
  • Minimize customer downtime and ensure system reliability

Customer Support & Training

  • Provide on-site technical support and guidance
  • Train customers on operation and maintenance procedures
  • Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns

Service Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for: Spare parts, Service contracts, System upgrades and retrofits
  • Recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and performance

Documentation & Reporting

  • Complete service reports and maintenance records
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues and product performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company standards

Other responsibilities: as assigned or required.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
  • 1–5 years’ experience in compressor or industrial equipment service
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Knowledge of compressor operation, maintenance
