Which is where you come in. Working at Schneider Electric means working toward a cleaner, better world. You're part of a global team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork, turning sustainability ambitions into actions.

The Role

The ADMS Application Support Engineer (IT/Deployment) plays a critical role in post-go-live deployment activities, software upgrades, patch management, technical integration, and customer support for utility ADMS environments. The role focuses on deploying hot fixes, critical updates, maintenance releases, and infrastructure changes while ensuring system stability and customer satisfaction. This position bridges engineering, software implementation, and IT/OT environments and serves as a key technical resource during go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and ongoing operational deployments.

What will you do?

ADMS Deployment and Configuration

  • Execute installation, configuration, deployment, and upgrade activities for ADMS software releases, patches, hotfixes, and critical updates.
  • Customize system parameters, network models, SCADA configurations, and operational rules to meet customer requirements.
  • Perform integrations with enterprise IT systems.
  • Review release notes, implementation procedures, and deployment prerequisites prior to production deployments.
  • Perform deployment validation and post-deployment health checks.

IT/OT Infrastructure Implementation

  • Prepare, deploy, and validate server environments, Windows operating systems, virtualization platforms, storage devices, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Install firmware updates on servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Support database configuration (Oracle/SQL), performance optimization, and security hardening.

Post Go-Live Delivery and Support

  • Participate in weekly deployment planning and review sessions, providing effort estimates and technical inputs for Hot Fixes, Critical Updates, patches, and maintenance releases.
  • Maintain detailed deployment documentation, configuration records, operational procedures, and system architecture artifacts.
  • Ensure adherence to deployment schedules and proactively escalate risks, issues, and technical roadblocks.
  • Support go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and transition-to-support activities.
  • Execute production and non-production deployments with minimal customer impact.
  • Coordinate deployment activities with customers, Engineering, Product, and Services teams.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster to support critical deployments, production incidents, and customer escalations.
  • Contribute to root-cause analysis and deployment continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Perform limited deployment validation testing based on release notes, deployment procedures, and post-deployment verification activities.

Customer Support and Engagement

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers during deployment cycles and post-go-live activities.
  • Conduct deployment reviews, technical workshops, system handover sessions, and user enablement activities.
  • Provide troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution support during go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and ongoing production operations.
  • Build trust through clear communication, technical ownership, and customer-first service delivery.

Quality, Security and Compliance

  • Follow engineering best practices, cybersecurity guidelines, and utility compliance requirements.
  • Maintain system integrity through deployment validation, monitoring, and operational controls.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of deployment frameworks, automation tools, and templates.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in ADMS/SCADA/OMS deployment, implementation, upgrades, or support environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server, virtualization technologies, Oracle/MS SQL, networking, and IT/OT infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, customer-facing, and communication skills.

What's in it for me?

  • Global Family Leave
  • Comprehensive medical coverage for employee and dependents
  • Worldwide Employee Stock Ownership
  • Hybrid work arrangement (New Ways of Working)
  • …and more!
