Independent and responsible development of structural- and equipment components for wind turbines in the field of steel- and hybrid towers.
Design Engineer for general mechanical design e.g. brackets, cable guidance but also components that are partly relevant to personal safety e.g. platforms and railings, ladder- and fall arrest systems.
Creation of requirements/specifications, product specifications and development reports.
Design and dimensioning (analytical, if necessary numerical) of components in the area of steel, aluminum, welded-, bent- and sheet metal constructions.
Project work in interdisciplinary teams for the holistic, joint definition of components (purchasing, quality, service, assembly, etc.)
Review of work results from other internal or external design engineers.
Collaboration in cost-down teams and programs to optimize components.
CAD modeling and drawing creation with NX-Unigraphics.
Product data management within Teamcenter 14.
If necessary, evaluation and processing of quality issues in the area of responsibility.
If necessary, support of external service providers.
If necessary patent research or creation.
Your Profile
Completed degree in mechanical engineering (diploma, master's degree, university of applied sciences, university, state certified engineer or engineering related studies), preferably with a specialization in design, manufacturing technology or product development.
Training/further education as a welding engineer is an advantage.
Several years of experience in the development/design of steel/sheet metal/welded constructions.
Several years of experience in the creation of development documents.
Experience in the application of development methodology.
Many years of experience in NX-Unigraphics and Teamcenter.
Knowledge of wind turbines and/or the wind energy industry is an advantage.
Strongly independent, self-responsible and team-oriented way of working.
