Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description
This Test Engineer role focuses on planning, executing, and analyzing engine and transmission tests using dynamometer systems and engine test cells. You will set up and operate engine test benches, collect and interpret detailed performance and emissions data, and support calibration and tuning activities to optimize engine performance. The position requires strong technical expertise in internal combustion engines, combustion theory, and data analysis to deliver accurate test results and clear performance insights.

Work Environment
You will work primarily in an engine test cell environment equipped with dynamometer (dyno) systems, engine test benches, and advanced instrumentation. The role involves frequent interaction with data acquisition and analysis tools, including software such as ASTi Vision and other test monitoring platforms. Work typically combines hands-on test setup and operation in the test cell with office-based analysis, report preparation, and collaboration with engineering and calibration teams. The environment emphasizes safe test execution, adherence to established procedures, and careful handling of engines, fuels, and test equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
