As a Mechanical Program Lead Engineer at Lam, you will own the design and delivery of advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems for wafer fabrication equipment, with primary focus on structural, thermal and fluid systems of the process modules for Dielectric Deposition products. The role spans root cause analysis, feasibility studies, concept & detailed design, prototyping, engineering analysis, test planning, validation, and documentation through release. You will provide technical leadership across system architecture, packaging, and cross-functional integration to deliver robust, manufacturable, and serviceable solutions. Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
