The Role:

Entegris is seeking a Process Engineer for Kaohsiung Science Park South (KSP-S), Taiwan to help build process capabilities and further develop key manufacturing process technologies for new advanced filters production lines. The candidate’s initial primary focus is:

  • Develop and maintain processes, machine, and data for advanced filter production lines in KSP.
  • Align the process and machine data of process equipment with other plants to establish the process flow and control standard for new Filter production lines in KSP-S.
  • Create SOP or work instruction and responsible for the training of production team to handle the operation by following the SOP or WI.
  • The ideal candidate is a proven professional who is energized by fast-paced, high profile projects and possesses both hands-on skills and process development capabilities.
  • Needs to take orientation and training in Entegris facilities, usually in 4~8 weeks to be familiar with Filter cleaning processes.
  • Open to learning a new science and technology and assembly processes with various equipments.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and enhance/develop processes for Filter manufacturing line.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, routings, and safety reviews.
  • Manage key operating performance criteria, yield, performance analysis, FMEA and SPC controls.
  • Develop capital justifications within budget for equipment and technology that either improves or aids in the growth of the business.
  • Drive root cause analyses and corrective action plans through the six sigma tools, collaborating with quality, product engineering, manufacturing and sales/marketing.
  • Lead the technology transfer from new product development to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturing is ready in accordance with Marketing requirements.
  • Implement changes properly through V&Q and PCN process.
  • Identify and implement cycle time and yield enhancing activities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation- operating procedures, test specs, test methods, component drawings.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • MSc degree in mechanical Engineering fields or engineering related fields.
  • Having at least 3+ years of process/equipment engineering experiences in manufacturing field is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in English communication.
  • Must be able to travel globally 10%.
  • Own a Lean/Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD/Soliwork is a a plus.
  • Ability to speak Japanese is a plus.
