JOB TITLE: Reliability Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $46.11/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Develop and maintain component-level FMECA worksheets (MIL-STD-1629A or equivalent)
- Identify failure modes, causes, and effects on system performance
- Assign criticality rankings and define mitigation strategies
- Update FMECA results throughout the product lifecycle and capture lessons learned
- Define accelerated life test plans using models such as Arrhenius and Coffin-Manson
- Coordinate and support test execution with internal labs
- Analyze test data and provide reliability insights and recommendations
- Support root cause analysis and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance to Start.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience
- Experience with FMECA and accelerated aging/thermal cycling tests
- Knowledge of reliability standards (MIL-STD-1629A, IEC 60812, etc.)
- Understanding of failure physics, degradation mechanisms, and material behavior
- Experience developing/interpreting test plans (ASTM, IEC, MIL standards)
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo)
- Familiarity with reliability software (ReliaSoft, Weibull++, ANSYS Reliability)
- Experience with statistical tools (Minitab, R, Python)
- Hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- Experience managing subcontractors or external partners
