Position: Project Planner

Profile:

We are looking for you as Project Planner / Project Controls Specialist for our team in Rotterdam in Holland for the handling, controlling and monitoring of customer-specific large-scale projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Definition of responsibilities and distribution of tasks within the team with regards to scheduling, taking customer specifications and company policies into account
  • Development, regular updates and analysis of project schedules
  • Preparation of tender and project time schedules
  • Collaboration and joint schedule creation and updating with project planners from other units in other European countries
  • Close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in your role as a central contact person for project planning and progress control
  • Requesting schedule inputs and updates from internal and external project team members, suppliers, including visit to project sites etc
  • Active monitoring and control of project progress taking company policies and best practices into account to ensure that projects are completed on time and in accordance with contract
  • Ensure that all projects are implemented and completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental guidelines

Ideal Background:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable (Bachelor / Master / Dipl.)
  • Relevant professional experience in project management, project execution and especially in the area of scheduling / project controls (scheduling, resource planning, cost control)
  • Extensive knowledge of the project planning and scheduling tools Primavera and MS Project
  • Knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint
  • Certification as PMI-SP or other scheduling related trainings would be an advantage
  • Very good communication skills, strong customer orientation as well as structured working methods and ability to work in a team
  • English and Dutch fluent in spoken and written
