Job Description

The Network Engineer III ensures the operational stability, availability and integrity of voice, data, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and maintaining local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization and multi campus sites. In addition, the Network Engineer III participates with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This position analyzes and resolves network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end user training where required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5 years of related experience and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.

OR

  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 10 years of related experience and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer at a senior level.
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator/Engineer
  • Cisco ACI – Data Center Application Centric Infrastructure (DCACI)
  • Operational experience with IPv6
