We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to build and integrate Danske Bank’s new Debt Collection system.
You will be joining a highly motivated team of very skilled architects, back-end developers, full-stack developers and business analysts. In a time of unprecedented speed of technological change, we aspire to be professionals with a forward-thinking open mindset.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
You will:
- Develop, deploy, maintain and support our solutions with a full product lifecycle mindset
- Analyze, build, and carry features all the way to production, and then run them
- Bring your motivation and ideas that will be appreciated in our squad and contribute to a fun workplace
- Create sustainable solutions inspired by the best practices and emphasis on clean code
- Work closely together with Tribe architects, developers and business analysts to ensure our smooth progress
- Mentor and support less experienced team members
- Work with: Java 21, Spring, MSSQL database and RabbitMQ
About you:
- 5+ years of experience within Java applications development and infrastructure
- Solid Java ecosystem knowledge having a good understanding of IT architecture and practical experience with solution design
- Have an idea of the product lifecycle and contribute to the strategic product ideas
- Natural interest in technology, knowing our solutions, challenging and fixing areas, and gathering business and domain understanding
- Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn. Willing to take any type of tasks upon you: Dev and Ops. Be ready for change
- Good English skills
- Considered a plus: AI orchestration tools, vibe coding as the default, AI guardrails, maintaining codebase with AI

Monthly salary range from 3680 EUR to 5520 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
