Tesla is looking for driven, high-energy recruiters and sourcers to support our Hardware Engineering teams. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers across Vehicle, Cell, AI Hardware, Optimus and related disciplines.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end recruiting for Hardware Engineering roles across Palo Alto, Austin, and other sites

Develop creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, referrals, conferences, GitHub/hardware communities, targeted outreach) to attract top talent from competitors, startups, and research institutions

Partner with Hardware leadership to understand technical requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities

Conduct initial screens, coordinate interviews with engineering panels, and drive offer processes with competitive compensation packages

Champion Tesla’s culture and mission to candidates — many are excited by the opportunity to work on groundbreaking hardware at scale

What You'll Bring

3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in hardware engineering, electronics, semiconductors, automotive, robotics, or consumer electronics

Strong understanding of hardware engineering concepts and be able to discuss technical requirements credibly with Staff Engineers and Directors

Proven ability to source and close passive senior-level candidates in competitive markets

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; you thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Experience with targeted and high-priority hiring

Passion for Tesla’s mission and comfort working in a high-performance, results-oriented culture

Expected Compensation

$64,000 - $204,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
