Job Description

We are looking for a skilled colleague to join our Customer Tax Reporting team – come and make a difference for our customers, the bank, and society!

About the team

Customer Tax Reporting team ensures that our customers across Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are taxed correctly and that Danske Bank complies with current regulatory requirements in relation to both national tax reporting (including TRACE reporting), FATCA/CRS, and other reporting activities towards Tax Authorities. You will join a global team of 20 professionals working across Finland, Denmark and Lithuania, characterized by trust, ownership and lots of smiling!

About the position

This position is primarily focused on FATCA/CRS; however, it requires knowledge and interest in other regimes, offering opportunities to work in a broader compliance context. You will be working across a large organization with many stakeholders and colleagues across the Nordics, Lithuania, and India, and it is therefore important that you are open and outgoing engaging in collaboration.

The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 –4 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

You will:

  • Handle self-certificate forms and inquiries from customers, perform sanity checks, managing letter campaigns, coordinating Relationship Manager inquiries, and participating in coordinator meetings between IT and Bussines Units
  • Handle complex analysis and different tasks, as well as business and compliance requirements related to tax reporting activities
  • Overseeing end‑to‑end customer tax reporting and ensuring compliance with Danish regulatory requirements by identifying, analyzing, and correcting reporting rejections received from the tax authorities
  • Create business documentation and requirements, supporting improvements in processes, governance, and data flows
  • Perform quality assurance activities, including control and testing of customer data and banking products (loans, accounts, investments, etc.)

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Higher education preferably in Finance, Economics, or similar would be considered as a beneficial asset
  • Analytical and structured approach and ability to work both on your own and in a team
  • You have a ‘yes, we can’ attitude combined with creative problem-solving skills
  • Upper-intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluency in English – both written and spoken

The monthly salary range is from 1680 EUR to 2520 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
