Your job:
- Develop an automation framework including governance in the field of IT infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, configuration management, and operational tasks
- Develop scripts, tools, and applications to automate manual processes, reduce errors, and speed up delivery
- Build up a new community of automation practices across existing product teams
- Collaborate with other Teams, System Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Developers, API Management, security, and operations teams to define automation requirements, standards, and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and promote automation culture across teams
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT automation, scripting, or related roles
- Experience in Kubernetes & Linux platform operation, with a preference for RedHat Linux
- Experience developing automation tools using modern software development practices (Git version control, testing, CI)
- Practical experience with configuration management and automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform and Strong Scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) in best case also with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Understanding RESTful principles and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH) and knowledge of API design approaches
