We are seeking a Python Backend Engineer to join our Agentic AI project, focused on developing advanced custom agents and connectors for Google and AWS AI services. You will play a key role in building scalable, adaptable solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and respond to evolving requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom agents from scratch based on input from analysts and product owners
- Integrate custom agents with existing systems to ensure seamless functionality
- Ensure scalability of developed solutions to accommodate future growth and requirements
- Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise, maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to tight deadlines
- Conduct technical research to explore new technologies and methodologies for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with 3 to 5 teammates, contributing to a shared vision and goals
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working as a Python developer in traditional and cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
- Ability to work independently and communicate with USA based customers without supervision
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues effectively
- Familiarity with scalable architecture and the ability to adapt solutions to changing project needs
- Strong analytical skills for conducting technical research and proposing optimized solutions
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on clear communication and teamwork within a small, agile group
- Knowledge of Cloud Native Development, including containerization, orchestration, and deployment using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless frameworks
- Skills in designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs with proficiency in authentication, versioning, and documentation
- English level B1+ for effective communication
Nice to have
- Proficiency in custom agent development at least at PoC with a strong understanding of integration techniques
- Understanding of key AI concepts such as MCP, A2A protocol, RAG, etc.
- Familiarity with A2A for agent-to-agent communication and workflow orchestration
- Expertise in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for building and deploying AI agents on AWS
- Showcase of experience with Google Vertex AI for model training, deployment, and integration
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol for managing context and state in agentic systems
- Capability to implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation for enhancing agent responses with external knowledge sources
