Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly and annual accounting closing.
  • Responsible for internal controls and reports to the corporate.
  • Complies with internal and external audit procedures and policies.
  • Interprets the financial information of the different departments, influencing decision-making.
  • Develops, maintains, executes, and supervises the work procedures and processes related to their responsibilities, as well as the personnel under their charge, including Sarbanes & Oxley's internal controls.
  • Prepare working papers for subsequent review by tax experts of the provisional and annual fiscal payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and carry out the reports requested by the different government agencies, in order to follow up on the terms established by Law and in accordance with the company's policies.
  • Generation of tax provisions
  • Keep the SAP system up to date.
  • Work Paper Control for Tax Calculation
  • Control of balances in favor of IVA Creditable
  • Tax Payment Filing (Federal and State)
  • Electronic Accounting
  • Control Intercompania
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly informative returns (diot, compensation notices, informative, inegi, economy)
  • Prepare monthly tax provisions, as well as the respective policies
  • Accounting record of tax payment and the respective monthly provision adjustment
  • Perform monthly accounting closings.
  • Prepare the appropriate tax provisions.
  • Preparation of reports from INEGI, Economy, SAT, Government of Chihuahua
  • Maintain close relationship with the accounts payable and payroll area
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Completed professional career in accounting or related career
  • Experience of 1 to 2 years in a similar position and/or Mexican accounting.
  • Experience 3 years in accounting office in tax area
