About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to support the modernization of our DevOps capabilities associated with our Sitecore Experience Platform. In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Product leadership to define, shape, and drive the evolution of our DevOps and product deployment workflows, tools, and automation systems.

Core Purpose

Drive the modernization and optimization of Sitecore’s DevOps workflows and tooling — enabling faster, more reliable, and more scalable software delivery across the Platform DXP ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the roadmap for DevOps workflow modernization, CI/CD evolution, build tooling, and automation initiatives.
• Analyze end‑to‑end delivery processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Partner closely with DevOps engineers to define requirements for new tools, pipelines, environments, and hosting approaches.
• Lead the evaluation and selection, upgrade, and replacement of 3rd parties supporting DevOps functions, including communicating with vendors, and influencing outcomes.
• Create clear epics, user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the backlog to enable engineering velocity and system reliability.
• Contribute to documentation of new processes, tooling standards, and modernization programs.
• Balance operational issues with long‑term modernization efforts.
• Bring data‑driven insights into planning and decision‑making.

What You Need to Succeed

• Genuine interest in solving problems and analysing options, at a detailed level.
• Hands‑on experience working in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems.
• Familiarity with hosting technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, cloud PaaS/SaaS, and orchestration.
• Ability to clarify complex engineering challenges and define technical requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

• Exposure to AI‑assisted DevOps practices - such as predictive pipeline optimisation, automated root‑cause analysis, or AI‑driven quality and security checks - to enhance delivery speed and reliability.
• Experience with Azure or enterprise cloud environments.
• Exposure to DevOps modernization or pipeline redesign.
• Understanding of Sitecore’s ecosystem or DXP architecture.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational tooling.
