THE ROLE

We are actively looking for an Intern Analyst, Strategic Initiatives Delivery (SID), to join our team in May 2026, for a 4-month internship. This role will be part of a growing and dynamic SID team, reporting into the Senior Director, Delivery Practice & Portfolio Reporting, SID. The incumbent will work closely with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Program/Portfolio Directors to develop and communicate plans for execution of various initiatives. You will collaborate and build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders from across the organization.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.

This role is based in downtown Toronto under a hybrid work policy, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (approximately two days per week in-office).

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Improve portfolio management through the creation of live dashboards for project portfolio metrics and financial reports
  • Capture and summarize project data to create portfolio level reports
  • Analyze project trends, developing insights, and identifying and acting on areas for improvement
  • Generate, update, and analyze financial plans including monthly rolling forecasts, latest estimates, baselines, and working versions
  • Investigate and pilot various process & tools for improved portfolio management and capacity planning
  • Assist department team members with other delivery and practice duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree, in Business, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or related Masters’ program
  • Proficient in Office 365 Tools
  • Data analytics & visualization skills a plus
  • Possesses basic knowledge of and a keen interest in project organization and execution
  • Excellent oral communication skills and professional writing

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

The expected compensation for this role is an annualized base salary in the range of $50,500 to $61,500. This range reflects the expected range for all intern levels and offers are aligned to academic level and role scope.
