Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician who will travel 50% of the time, including occasional out-of-state trips by plane. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in clean rooms with equipment such as fume hoods and biosafety cabinets.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a 4-hour radius of the location in WI and be prepared for out-of-state travel if needed.
• Work in clean rooms and handle equipment like fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, laminar flows, and autoclaves.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Enter data into Excel spreadsheets and understand basic formulas.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, biomedical engineers, and directors of biomedical systems.
• Strive to exceed expectations and scale to a Technician role.
• Assist in expanding and taking on more national accounts.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a clean room environment.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of Excel and data entry.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Clean room certifications such as NSF or CETA are preferred, but not required.
• A 2-year program or 4-year degree is preferred, but not required.
• Driven, willing to learn, honest, and self-aware.

Work Environment

The role involves travelling to customer sites, predominantly in clean rooms, and working with various high-tech equipment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
