Machine / VHP Operator - 2nd shift

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will operate and execute VHP cycles (evacuation, heating, pressing, and cooling)
• Assemble and align precision die sets and load raw materials
• Monitor vacuum integrity and hydraulic pressure throughout runs
• Further, you will maintain detailed batch records and equipment logs for quality control
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, and be able to organize and perform housekeeping in the guidelines of 5S
• You will also support operations in other departments and operate equipment, including lathes, cutting and fabrication equipment, chemical refining, and bonding
• Participate in productivity projects to improve efficiency of operations

What makes you great

• You possess a High School Diploma or GED and experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings is preferred
• Three to five years of manufacturing experience required
• You should be familiar with vacuum and thermal systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment is required in this role
• Further strong mathematic skills are required in this role
• You must have the ability to work 2nd shift
• Mechanically inclined preferred
• You should have proficiency in the use of all common machine shop equipment and tools and measuring devices
• In addition, you must have basic computer and math skills
