Machine Operator - Fabricator

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will set up and operate various fabrication equipment such as rolling mill machines
• Fabricate various metal types via cold/hot pressing, cold/hot rolling, oven homogenization/recrystallization, saw cutting, melting
• Verify finished components to specific dimensions using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and heat treatment information
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, and be able to organize and perform housekeeping in the guidelines of 5S
• You will also support operations in other departments and operate equipment, including lathes, cutting and fabrication equipment, chemical refining, and bonding
• Participate in productivity projects to improve efficiency of operations

What makes you great

• You possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Mechanically inclined preferred
• In addition, you must have basic computer and math skills
