Baseline Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
• Able to work in the Chicago, IL; Columbia, SC; or Livonia, MI, area without relocation.
• Required Graduation: No earlier than December 2026 but no later than May 2027.

Digital Enterprise Software Applications Intern

Sales & Services: Solution Consulting Team

Join our Sales & Services Presales Team as a Digital Enterprise Software Applications Intern and gain real-world experience in the fast-paced world of manufacturing technology. Work alongside our consulting team to create engaging software demonstrations, take part in hands-on training, and help develop new ideas for innovative digital engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Demonstrations: Partner with the consulting team to develop and deliver compelling software demonstrations showcasing digital engineering and simulation solutions.
• Training and Workshops: Participate in hands-on training sessions and workshops to evaluate and test new software capabilities, gaining practical experience in real-world scenarios.
• Ideation Process: Contribute to brainstorming and concept development, exploring new applications and ideas to drive innovation in digital manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using CAD-based applications such as Siemens NX and familiar with programming languages or tools used in manufacturing or automation.
• Initiative: A self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and projects, paired with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

The hourly range for this position is $23.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
