Assist with maintaining the plant and facilities for the Company’s McElhattan, PA operation.
Coordinate McElhattan plant and facilities capital projects.
Troubleshoot chronic equipment, machinery, and conveyor system problems.
Provide technical guidance to the Maintenance department as needed.
Support other related manufacturing/process engineering duties as directed.
Manage advanced manufacturing techniques and methods for distribution, harness manufacturing, and molding projects.
Investigate/coordinate automation and advanced conveyor and assembly techniques that pertain to distribution and assembly operations.
Support and direct prototyping to NPI and LCM projects.
Participate/lead advanced application development projects and the development of new ideas and methods for product and material handling and movement, harness manufacturing, and molding.
Coordinate equipment automation efforts/techniques that support the cycle times and cost target improvements. Manage financial budgets and timing for automation and assembly for NPI and LCM efforts.
The position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 or 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC)
Proficiency with PLC ladder logic, HMI and SCADA development packages
