Role
We have an exciting opportunity as a Design Engineer in Budapest, Hungary. In this role, you will be directly involved in projects, interacting with stakeholders both within and outside the team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of technical drawings based on the instructions of project managers
- Preparation of quantity calculations based on the instructions of the project managers
- Preparation of other documents belonging to the design documentation (heat transfer calculations, thermal expansion calculations)
- Preparation of the assigned tasks by the deadline
- Participation in the compilation of price offers
- Work comfortably in highly collaborative setting, have a confident and outgoing personality
- Management of own projects
- Occasional work at execution site
- Occasional work abroad
Requirements
- Technical higher education (mechanical engineering, civil engineering diploma)
- Recommended professional experience: refractory, or technical preparation engineer, or design engineer, or project engineer experience
- Fluent Hungarian, intermediate English language skills, confident use of the language, any extra language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement
- Computer skills including: Office package (Excel & Word), OneDrive, ACAD, 3D CAD
- High level of efficency and accuracy
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multitasking/projects, as well as meet deadlines
- Analytical and highly organized
