Floor Technician - CVI – Rehab at Hartsfield Village (Powers Health)

Schedule: Full-Time, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Areas of Responsibility:

Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs service duties necessary to maintain the facilities, resident quarters and public areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary and attractive condition, in Assisted Living and Independent Living to include:

• Utilizing various machines and cleaning supplies to clean carpets and flooring throughout buildings
• Responding to urgent cleaning needs of Staff and Residents to help maintain a clean, safe and attractive environment
• Trash removal and disposal
• Cross train in the Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing Care building

Knowledge and Abilities:

Must be able to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally to residents and team members. Must possess strong teamwork along with effective communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform required competencies (skills) for this position within allotted time frames. High School Diploma or Equivalent required; related experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
