Location: Vernier (Geneva) or Budapest

Contract length: 6-12 months

As a Sustainability Communications Intern (m/f/d), you'll work with the Communications Lead for Sustainability, supporting the delivery of our communications across different channels. You'll help organize projects, create content, and collaborate with colleagues in areas such as reporting, social media, and divisional communications. You will contribute to important ongoing tasks that support the sustainability communications strategy.

Reporting to the Sustainability Communications Lead, you will:

• Project and partner management
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to source compelling examples, information and content for communications activities
  • Manage communications timelines on main pre-agreed projects
  • Manage partner inputs and validations on main materials
• Content support
  • Develop internal news articles and materials (for example, on main 'World Days', milestones and internal news)
  • Own the development of the regular quarterly sustainability communications newsletters
  • Update important existing materials such as presentations and narratives
  • Help develop award entries
  • Support in the development of new sustainability materials
• Research support
  • Support with research to inform main sustainability communications programs.
  • Support with research to inform our strategic communications planning – for example industry benchmarking, competitor reviews, external sustainability communications trends analysis
  • Keep our sustainability events/awards calendar up to date and reviewing main relevant speaker and media opportunities in consideration of our strategy
  • Help track Indicators, and produce internal evaluation reports
• Implementation support
  • Help with implementation of main campaigns (for example, Climate Week)
  • Oversee and implement pre-agreed projects such as main World Days or mini campaigns from end-to-end with support from the Sustainability Communications BP
• Integration opportunities
  • Participate in relevant meetings – from sustainability team 'all-hands' meetings to corporate communications meetings to partner meetings.

You?

• Fluency in English
• Active studies in the field of Sustainability and/or Communication
• Experience with content creation
• Good eye for detail
• Passion for connecting with people, asking questions, and turning complex ideas into clear, engaging stories
