You Are:

You are a seasoned verification expert with 10-15 years of experience in the semiconductor domain, passionate about ensuring the highest quality in complex IP designs. You have a deep technical foundation in ASIC digital design and verification, complemented by advanced knowledge of UVM, SystemVerilog, and industry best practices. Your experience with high-speed serial link protocols such as USBx, PCIe, or SATA positions you as a subject matter authority, capable of addressing intricate technical challenges with confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the functional verification of advanced IP designs, focusing on high-speed serial link PHYs (e.g., USBx, PCIe, SATA).
  • Collaborate closely with architecture and design teams to define and achieve implementation and verification goals.
  • Develop, review, and oversee comprehensive test methodologies, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards such as UVM and SystemVerilog.
  • Build and maintain robust verification environments using constrained random stimulus, assertions, and coverage metrics.
  • Execute and debug regression simulations, analyze results, and drive improvements for quality and performance.
  • Create and manage detailed test plans, establish coverage targets, and monitor progress to achieve verification completeness.
  • Champion Agile practices, including code reviews, sprint planning, and process retrospectives.
  • Drive efficiency and innovation in verification processes through new methods, automation, and tool adoption.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management, reporting technical status, risks, and solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience in ASIC digital design and verification, with a focus on IP-level functional verification.
  • Expertise in verification methodologies such as UVM and SystemVerilog.
  • Strong background in high-speed serial protocols (SERDES, USB, PCIe, SATA, or similar).
  • Proficiency in developing verification environments, writing assertions, and achieving coverage goals.
  • Demonstrated experience with regression management, debugging, and quality assurance processes.
  • Hands-on experience applying Agile practices within engineering teams.
  • Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and drive process improvements through automation and tool adoption.
