Product Manager – Marketing Operations Platforms
We are seeking an experienced product leader to own the strategy, roadmap, adoption, and evolution of three mission-critical platforms powering modern marketing at scale:
- Enterprise JIRA (Marketing Workflow Management)
- Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform and connected creative ecosystem
- Generative AI tools for creative, content, and personalization
This is a product leadership role—not administrative or project management. You will define vision, prioritize features, drive adoption, measure impact, and partner across Engineering, Creative, Content, Media, and Data teams to turn tools into revenue-driving solutions.
At Heartland Dental, we provide non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,900 dental offices. Each Heartland Dental supported office is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Supported doctors are the leaders of their practice and retain clinical autonomy. Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
Platform Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the full lifecycle of JIRA (Marketing instance), DAM, and GenAI creative suite.
- Develop 12–18 month roadmaps aligned to marketing KPIs (speed-to-market, creative velocity, process / cost efficiency, personalization ROI).
- Prioritize enhancements, integrations, and AI capabilities based on business value.
JIRA for Marketing & Creative
- Transform JIRA into a high-velocity marketing operating system.
- Design workflows, dashboards, automation, and reporting.
- Manage governance, permissions, and scalability.
- Establish documentation and training to ensure adoption, scalability, and consistent best practices across teams.
Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Evolve DAM into the single source of truth for brand and performance assets.
- Drive metadata strategy, AI tagging, version control, rights management, and integrations (Adobe CC, Figma, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
Generative AI for Creative & Content
- Champion GenAI tools for marketing use cases.
- Define governance, prompt libraries, and brand safety standards.
- Scale use cases: personalized ads, localized content, video scripting, synthetic imagery, A/B testing automation.
- Measure impact on creative output, cost-per-asset, and performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Creative, Content, Media, Data Science, Marketing Ops, and Engineering.
- Lead quarterly business reviews demonstrating platform ROI.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Minimum Requirements:
- 6–10+ years in product management, marketing operations, or creative operations.
- Proven experience as product owner for enterprise JIRA (marketing/creative preferred).
- Hands-on DAM implementation and scaling experience.
- Expertise in generative AI tools for marketing workflows.
- Strong data fluency; ability to build dashboards and link usage to KPIs.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills.
- Familiarity with agile/scaled agile environments.
