A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Engineer in the SE WP OF SV EN Platform department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the technical performance of our direct driven (DD) offshore wind turbine fleet, post-installation. Your day will involve leading technical case investigations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving root cause analyses to ensure optimal operation and reliability of turbines ranging from 6-14MW. You will be responsible for developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions, documenting learnings, and engaging with both customers and suppliers to deliver best-in-class service. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the high standards and longevity of our offshore wind farms.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and resolve technical cases related to DD Offshore turbine platforms, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and define corrective and preventive actions to address fleet issues.
• Develop and implement retrofit solutions to enhance the reliability and efficiency of installed turbines.
• Document and share field learnings within the organization, driving risk mitigation in new designs.
• Ensure safe operation and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Proficiency in 8D methodology, D/P-FMEA, EHS Design Risk Assessment tools, and statistical analysis software (e.g., MiniTab, Weibull).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive and structured approach.
• Experience in the wind turbine industry, product development, or electrical design engineering.
• High attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
