About Cover-More Travel Insurance in New Zealand

This role is part of our Cover-More Travel Insurance team in New Zealand. Cover-More Travel Insurance has been part of the New Zealand travel sector since 2007, and we are one of the country’s leading providers of travel insurance and medical assistance. Based in Auckland, Cover-More NZ works with well-known Kiwi brands and also offers travel insurance directly to travellers. We are here for our customers before, during and after they travel away from home, helping them feel safe, protected, and cared for every step of their journey.

What you’ll be doing:

We have multiple Customer Service Representative positions within our growing team at our Auckland office. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and provide outstanding supports to our Cover-More customers and partners.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines and regulatory obligations
  • Handle enquiries by phone, email and chats and provide advice and assistance to customers and partners regarding (but not limited to) policy coverage, policy administration, existing medical conditions, new and/or existing claims
  • Maintain accurate records of calls received, using relevant CRM, telephony and relevant digital support systems
  • Register and resolve customer complaints within the compliance framework
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities aimed at improving service functions

What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:

  • Previous experience in an omni channel contact centre (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the travel industry and/or financial services (desirable)
  • Relevant experience working with CRM, telephony and Live Chat systems (desirable)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and typing speed of 60-80 wpm (desirable)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and building a trusting partnership with customers
