Job Description

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to lead the Mechanical Engineering function for Sensor ECU products, mainly within the ADAS domain.

This role is accountable for mechanical development delivery, cost and quality performance, and effective stakeholder management in a global, matrix organization.

  • Lead and develop a mechanical engineering organization covering concept design, detailed design, validation and industrialization support
  • Own end-to-end mechanical development for Sensor ECU products (e.g. Camera, Radar, Ultrasonic), including mechanical architecture, component design, design for reliability and design to cost
  • Ensure engineering quality, robustness and compliance with automotive standards and internal processes (e.g. DRBFM, DFMEA, DFMA)
  • Drive efficient development processes, resource planning and cost-excellence across the product lifecycle
  • Act as the primary mechanical engineering interface to hardware, purchasing, manufacturing and customer project management
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders, including global engineering teams, suppliers and senior management
  • Proactively communicate risks, trade-offs and decisions to senior management, enabling timely alignment and escalation
  • Build and sustain a strong engineering culture focused on accountability, execution and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Education:Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Working Experience:10+ years of experience in automotive product development, including leadership roles
  • Knowledge/Skills:
  1. Proven track record in leading medium to large engineering teams in a complex/matrix environment
  2. Solid understanding of automotive electronic product development processes and quality standards, ideally within the ADAS sensor domain
  3. Strong execution and delivery mindset, with the ability to manage complexity, cost and priorities
  4. Experience working in a global, matrix organization
