Job Description

Design and specify electrical systems for data centres and buildings, such as Electrical services including utility, emergency standby generators, static UPS, power distribution, telecommunications system, Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system, Building Management System (BMS), Emergency Voice Communications System (EVCS), etc.

• Prepare relevant documents, design calculations and tender drawings
• Attend client-consultant, site and technical meetings
• Provide project management and construction supervision
• Review contractors' technical submissions of equipment/materials/drawings
• Conduct site inspections of installations
• Witness testing and commissioning of equipment/system
• Work with the clients' project team and fellow consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirement
• Be responsible for any duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Basic proficiency in Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD
• Positive work attitude and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Enjoy the process of developing design ideas into actual quality installation and validating through tests
• Likes hands-on work
• Work experience in M&E Engineering Consultancy firm is preferred
• Familiarity in Data Centre industry is preferred
• Suitable applicant with longer relevant experience and deeper technical knowledge will be considered for senior position
