It comes as no surprise that virtual patient visits require technology. To ensure a successful virtual visit, it requires a Virtual Care Support Technician to serve as a clinical and facility-based partner to virtual care providers and hospital staff with a focus on integrating high quality virtual healthcare into hospital care delivery.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Facilitates telemedicine workflow by fulfilling assessment duties with physician oversight.
• Provides service to those we are privileged to serve, internal and external, via phone, electronic, and in person; applies written and verbal communication skills on multiple levels, as well as analysis and critical thinking to support the provider.
• Facilitates communication between telemedicine providers and patients, family, and staff; collaborates across teams to support virtual health care delivery.
• Captures data for continuous and quality improvement.
• Secure the appropriate virtual health equipment for the patient interaction; report and escalate virtual health technology or equipment issue.
• Contribute to the development and revision of workflow changes, policy, and procedures documentations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred Certificate
• Required High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years Healthcare Required
• 4 years Direct healthcare, virtual health Preferred
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
