Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate US GAAP reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and SEC/SFAS schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Local GAAP reporting and statutory compliance, including managing local GAAP adjustments and liaising with external authorities.
  • Oversee and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), including annual audit cycle support and remediation efforts.
  • Manage industrial control aspects, such as inventory valuation, fixed asset accounting, and monitoring related KPIs.
  • Assuming a leadership role for the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. ACCA or CIMA is a plus.
  • Strong experience in controlling and leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in Accounting Standards. US GAAP or IFRS, Polish GAAP. Internal Controls experience in SOX is a plus.
  • Multinational experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English is essential.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems. SAP (or similar advanced ERP/consolidation systems). Onestream/Hyperion consolidation systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Analytical skills, and ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
