This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure that the activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {EL-ELDS-DSSWPAIS: MV primary AIS} in {Xiamen, China}. Main stakeholders are {ELDS}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Train new employees, assistant engineers, and engineers.
• Undertake project management work for the department.
• Optimize design solutions, define and optimize design principles.
• Establish and achieve team performance goals according to requirements.
• Provide technical support.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering
• Over 5 years of experience in mechanical design of medium-voltage switchgear.
• Proficient in fundamental principles and guidelines of medium-voltage switchgear design.
• Experience in product or engineering project management.
• Comprehensive and systematic knowledge of overall mechanical design, mechanical drawing, processing, and application technology.
• Familiar with machining process flow and requirements.
• Proficient in office software and drawing tools incl. AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc.
• Strong professional English reading ability, proficient in English listening, speaking and writing

Job Title: 设计主管

–General Responsibilities

• 按照客户需求执行中压开关成套项目的一次设计及非标方案评审工作；
• 协调、解决项目生产制造过程中出现的一次设计相关问题；
• 协调、解决项目现场安装、调试阶段出现的一次设计相关问题；
• 负责团队绩效管理及跨团队协作；
• 为客户及内部人员提供技术支持。

–Main Accountabilities

• 培训新员工、助理工程师、工程师；
• 承担部门项目管理工作；
• 优化设计方案，制定、优化设计原则；
• 根据要求制定团队绩效并达成；
• 提供技术支持

–Requirements

• 本科或本科以上学历，机械专业
• 5年以上从事中压开关柜机械设计工作经验；
• 熟练掌握中压开关柜设计的基本原理及原则；
• 具有产品或工程项目管理经验
• 全面、系统地掌握总体机械设计、机械制图、 加工、应用工艺知识；
• 熟悉机加工的工艺流程及工艺要求；
• 熟练应用办公软件，以及AutoCAD、SolidWorks等绘图工具
• 良好的专业英语阅读能力，熟练的英语听、说、写能力
