We collaborate in maintaining and improving PPK process efficiency in a safe environment with the highest quality standards, developing our human talent, fulfilling and satisfying the needs of our customers, the builders of tomorrow.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Defines and leads process to select the best productivity opportunities to work on the area (includes productivity benchmark with other sites, Builds Project Portfolio)
  • Ensures projects results following the guidelines in LEGO Project Management and LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI tools, strategy deployment..).
  • Manages growth and expansions projects, leading a providing functional inputs regarding operations shopfloor management, interaction of man-machine.-building-flows (platforms & process capabilities, infrastructure…)
  • Development and coaching of Production Coordinators.
  • Creation of procedures.
  • Installation of new equipment and engineering changes.
  • Daily support in production lines. (Search for opportunity areas to improve or solve regarding equipment and processes)
  • Contact with suppliers, quotations and purchases
  • Comply and supports IMS requirements implementation.
  • Maintenance and updating of information (BI, SAP…)
  • Interaction and supports production systems (shopfloor management).
  • Support to other areas with respect to implementations of projects where production could be affected.

Do you have what it takes?

  • At least 5 years in Manufacturing or Engineering area.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Professional degree in Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering.
  • Leadership: Able to lead others and likewise, motivate staff and focus on himself and his team development, decision- making ability, high sense of belonging.
  • Communication: high communication skills to develop local and global relationships in his work area and empower to the team.
  • Interpersonal skills: demonstrate a high level of collaboration, partnership, focus on staff welfare, proactive and service attitude, high level of personal and professional ethics.
  • Capacity of analysis and problem solving.
  • Holistic and strategic vision to enable it to take decisions in the short and medium term.
  • PC medium level (office), projects execution, coordinated management system (safety and quality).
  • LCI Tools
  • English Fluent Level

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
