Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH
Position Type: Full-Time
Essential Function:
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counting and supporting all phases of inventory control. This role ensures the integrity of perpetual inventory and assists with inventory maintenance tasks, including profiling items and resolving discrepancies.
Primary Duties:
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Enter and verify data in inventory systems.
- Research and resolve count discrepancies following established guidelines.
- Profile new and existing items, including slotting and hazardous classification.
- Review inventory reports and provide research to resolve issues.
- Respond to inquiries regarding order status and product availability.
- Create cycle count files and recommend process improvements.
- Operate lift truck equipment (stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks) as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to productivity standards.
- Provide support to other departments on inventory-related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency; WMS knowledge a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items. Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of protective gear as needed.
